Best known for it's wonderful fruit, and as the prefered food of Silkworms, Mulberry also is an extremely useful herb to have in any garden.
The fruit is taken to benefit the kidneys, and treat weakness, fatigue, anemia, and premature graying of hair.
Mulberry leaves and stem contain high levels of magnesium, phosphorus, potassium and calcium and are typically used to relieve constipation, coughs, colds, as well as providing a soothing 'Tea' before going to bed.
These trees are best being potted on until aproximately 60cm high before being planted out in early Spring.
