As the smallest member of the the extended onion family, Chives are often overlooked.
They are however, probably one of the most useful of the family, and the easiest to grow, and certainly, the easiest to 'keep'.
Give them a small corner of the vege patch and you will have them forever.
Easy to strike, generally tidy and neat in the garden, and always on tap for a meal.
