This strongly lemon scented shrub grows to between 2-3 metres and has a beautiful aspect in the garden.
While being deciduous, it still maintains it's shape in the garden, and requires trimming only occasionally to clean up the dead wood.
As a flavouring herb it lends itself to all sweet dishes and drinks and as a additive to a cup of tea it helps to soothe and relax as well as clearing bronchial and nasal congestion and puffy eyes.
Leafing up in early Spring, with it's bright green foliage, it then flowers all the way through summer until mid Autumn.
These can take a while to germinate, so don't be impatient.
